Grief, Relief, Belief

Carrie’s husband died in 2020 from a traffic car accident, leaving her with their three young children aged 1,3 and 5. Dealing with the emotional issues of her children while working part-time led her into depression. The high-pressure lifestyle almost made her end her life and put her children into foster care. Through joining ChickenSoup’s activities allowed her to find her long-lost self and also his son’s talent of chess. Now, Carrie is training to become a yoga instructor to promote mindfulness.
