“Unspeakable” Hardship

Full-time mom Mrs Lam shared her struggles raising a daughter with autism, speech delay and social impairment.

Looking after a child with special educational needs isn’t an easy task. Taking care a SEN kid as a single parent makes it even worse.

Ms. Lam, a single mom from ChickenSoup, was interviewed by “City Focus” of HOY TV earlier to share her struggles looking after her daughter Tong Tong, who was diagnosed with autism, speech delay and social impairment. Watch the full interview from below!

With ChickenSoup’s support, Tong Tong’s situation has improved tremendously. However she is still waiting to be enrolled in a public SEN school and requires continued SEN support especially during the golden treatment period.

Ms. Lam hopes that Tong Tong will be able to talk one day.  Donate now via our website to support Tong Tong’s SEN training to make Ms Lam’s dream come true!
