An open thank you letter to @coldplay for sharing your success in HK with our family community. And the media outlets for covering this good cause!

Thank you sentence from one of our beneficiary.
“My name is Rosanne and I am 15 years old. I live with my mom and younger brother aged 8; my father left us when I was 7 to escape from his gambling debt.
Every week, I walk up the spiral stairs to ChickenSoup Foundation, a local charity that has been supporting my family since the pandemic, for music therapy and dancing class.
The ceiling and the walls in clubhouse are painted with beautiful symbols and words. These words strike me the most, for they sit right above the entrance and are simple enough for me to understand: “Look at the stars. Look how they shine for you and all the things that you do.”
Only this week did I finally know that these are lyrics from a song called “Yellow” by Coldplay as the advertisement for their concert is all over where I live – Kai Tak.
I hope Coldplay sings loud enough so I can hear from my home. And I will look at the stars, look how they shine for me and all the things that I do.
Thank you for choosing our community to be the beneficiary of your charity T-shirt sale and introducing me to the world of pop rock music!”
