Overwhelmed by the grief of losing her husband in a tragic car accident and struggling as a single mother of three, Carrie was referred to the Chickensoup Foundation by the Social Welfare Department in 2023. There, she found their secret recipe for self-love, self-empowerment, and community support.
She graduated from the Chickensoup Foundation as a beneficiary after 22 months in the Family Empowerment Program. Since then, she has joined the professional team as a full-time intern.
Currently, she is on her training journey to become a professional yoga instructor. Her biggest dream is to see her three children thriving in their own paths in playing chess, painting, and gymnastics, respectively.
